For me the logical step for JML would be M-sport. then Toyota would be open for Breen, ostberg, sordo or paddon with a 1 year contract + someone like tidemand. Then they could get Rovanperä or Huttunen for 2020 or some other rising star to be sweet.
There is nothing logical about it, they are there for the manuf. title so if they hire a rookie, their 2. driver has to be better than medium.

10 things we learned from F1 2026 pre-season testing Week 2.
So what did we actually learn, once you strip away the sandbagging talk and focus on the themes that repeated themselves across the grid?...
I guess I'm moving more and more into the "none of that actually matter" camp. If Rally2s are the TopClass for 2027, it doesnt matter what other manufacturers, Msport, Toyota, Hyundai or constructors...
With Prospeed and Toyota there is the same number of manufacturers as 2011 with a new spec car. Same year allowed teams to run the manufacturers cars and the lower class cars. Same year the promoter...
Whose got money and interest to rally the world in Rally2? That's negative IMO.
WRC mainclass from 2027
