The cars usually don't crash on straights. You won't lower down cornering speed by downgrading the power. If You want the cars to go slower remove the downforce.

Maybe the sport needs to learn the lessons of NASCAR and downforce, especially the effects that result from loss of it when going sideways of backwards.

Stewards decision number 7 has given Dani Sordo a 10 second penalty for hitting haybales during SS8. Teemu Suninen is now 3rd overall

Three way fight for final step of podium is separated by just 11.1 seconds with 51.53 km remaining. Going to be an interesting final day in Portugal
