    This year Portuguese championship (CPR) is looking to be one of the best ever. In next week first rally (Serras de Fafe), around 20 R5’s are expected. Last year’s top contenders are all in place and the return of Armindo is creating huge excitement. More returns can happen: the last name to be mentioned is Bernardo Sousa!

    Harry Hunt in a DS3 R5?! He hasn't regularly rallied anything but Cross Country events since his last full stage rally season in 2012. I wonder what spurred this entry and change of discipline?

    Fantastic list (the national and regional lists are also quite good)! Hunt was a nice surprise, but the return of Jose Carlos Macedo (Renault Portugal official driver during the 90’s*) was even more surprising. Hard to predict who will win, as there are almost 10 top crews able to do it; just one guarantee: it’ll be a heck of a rally!
