Regarding the weather. I hope bluuford will approve: There will be high temperatures during this week nearly everywhere. So the snow will melt a lot. Then there will be rain during friday morning and it could freeze during FRI-SAT night especially in mountains and forests so I assume there would be ice above 1000m but I don´t expect snow. Or very thin layer of snow and only on the top of the hills. And on Sunday snow and ice will melt slowly again because of high temperatures.

On Friday it may be mostly water indeed, but let's hope some unpredictability and maybe some snow at higher places.

Yup, this SS could be snowy, but at the end of the SS10/12 is town La Batie-Neuve (906m high) and the predicted temperature is 6°C for Saturday.

#WRC season 2018 has officially started. First loop of recce in Turini this morning, totally dry apart from a few icy/wet patches. But we're expecting 4 km of ice after the Col de Fontbelle. Sounds like fun

But this has nothing to do with my relationship with WRC. I was always waiting when we will be able to see more live stages from WRC events. I dont need lot of additional stuff like interviews about nothing (like it was mentioned - about their breakfast, about their friends)etc. For me is enough to see the footage from stages - onboards, cameras, dronds, helicopters. But I am not sure if my view is same as view of promoter. And what I have seen in last years, they are doing lot of things which are against rally-fan spectator. So I am afraid that it will not be working so perfectly like we all are dreaming here. But I will be really happy if this product will be reliable and working.

What I hated most last year was messing live feed with studio useless talk. Gaps were made to 4 minutes just to be filled with that crap. Cut this and all the waiting for driver to remove his helmet at the end of the stage and you get 2 minutes action from every crew. Thus the high rhythm remains constant for the spectator and he watches all the show instead of doing something else around.

Or bring interviews in the corner and next car action on big screen. Still better to look two things at the same time than one not important that much.
