Apart from the engine it's all identical yes. Only the engine is pretty much standard with only different mapping. It produces +-155hp (the R2 over 180). It makes it much cheaper to run, the kit price is around 25 000 euros (+ VAT). A standard 1.0 ecoboost Fiesta could be bought for around 13 000 euros (+ VAT) I think.

Sulland, I think we discussed that already million times. There is never any such universal value. It's completely different on different stages, in different altitudes etc. The difference will be very small in Finland for example but much bigger on Corsica etc. Somebody may give You some number but what would it be good for You if it's let's say 0,2-0,4s/km? What would it tell You? Is it a lot or is it not? What does it mean a lot? IMHO such number for outsider is meaningless except as a curiosity.

Always fun Mirek.
The difference btw me and you is that you think like an engineer, and I think as someone btw a driver, spectator and a cup manager.
Imo Norway needs a cup again. It should be something like a R1+ or R2-. A car is more than hp.
R2 is about 20 000€, the french one about 40 000, and a full R2 fiesta 60 000.
A R1 with a 1000 ccm turbo engine on 140-150hp could maybe be about 25 000 as a cup car.
Frank Tore Larsen normally Fiesta R5 driver, drove a Fiesta R1 this weekend, and became 19 overall, just ahead of two Fiesta R2s. So driver capability matter.
I am thinking guesstimate/ ballpark figures, and always do. If same driver drove same ss in same conditions on same ss. What would the difference be, aprox pr km SS.
