but to be honest I'd rather he crashed out than settled for a 14 second gap at the end. Commitment till the end... Next year is his year

Definitely. But it's the final rally of the year, the final stage, points don't matter and the win was basically out of his grasp. His only mistake of the year came at the best possible time, and for me I'd rather he went out with a bang than concede defeat. Originally Posted by journeyman racer
