Could a moderator please rename this thread "2018 news and results" or something similar.
I thought 2018 calendar was to be announced Monday?

Eurosport need to do something about promoting the ERC better - 7 months without an event is pretty poor.

A local radio and newspaper said this week end that the Azores Rally would open the ERC in 2018, March 22-24, but he knew that these dates are not yet confirmed.
I also agree that the ERC season is too short. It should start in February and end in late October.

Perfect would be to kick out the rally of Rome-Capitale, move Liepaja (or Rally Poland in Mikolajki) to mid-september, and bring back Valais at the end of October...
