Eerik Pietarinen is a name to remember for the future. Two stage wins out of three, third stage win ruined by a Swedish R4 Mitsubishi.
Some organizing problems on the third stage, an accident requiring ambulance and then after the race re-started a civil vehicle got onto the stage slowing down competitors.

Pietarinen did a good work, being first time in R5 car. No doubt he could be a BIG future star. But can´t understand the big differences. Was it tactics from the others thinking of points and championship? Originally Posted by AnttiL

Pietarinen did proper job, but how often has a foreign driver set the fastest time in overall with Mitsubishi in Finnish championship????
Jacob Jansson from Sweden, the Man of the rally. He was one second slower than Pietarinen in the two forest stages on Friday and he was rallying first time ever in Finland.
Give him a chance!!!
