I was 42nd, but still gained 12 positions in the standings to 120.

You beat me this week dude; 59th - 74th. Actually I'm quite lucky to have only dropped 2 places in the championship, you picked up 9 places. Way to go!

It's not just drivers who would befefit from that. Also fans, who want to see more stages live. The camera crew, support, media, key people... It's umderstandable that the hosting country wants to...
