Did an evening recce of #WRC @rajdpolski SS11 [1st up on Saturday morning] - it's slippery as all Hell in the forest. Should be interesting.

Given the fact that he has loads more experience than Mikkelsen and a very favorable road position, he should really have been able to do more.

His best stage time, not counting the super special was 7th and his average would be around 9th. Breen had 2wd and Mikkelsen hit a tree. He beat his team mates only because they had problems on at least two of those stages.

I agree he did well, however the bolded part of your post is important by comparing him with drivers with same road position and over the whole day.

And on purpose I omitted Evans, Breen and Mikkelsen. Well Lefebvre I could have mentioned, he didn't complain about his car.
