just a shakedown and i dont know how much Mikkelsen is pushing but doesnt look that good at the moment

He's fourth at the moment, faster than Evans for example

Anyway he's learning the car and hasn't even got his own setup yet.

And this rally is anyways more about survival than brutal speed.

he has done 3 runs already while most of the fastest guys only 1 or 2. but like i said, just a shakedown

im the one who doesnt expect him to fight for the win here like many here, podium would be good but i think he will be 5th or 6th.

Yeh, for example Evans was the slowest works WRC in Argentina, and he even did four runs.

In Sardinia, Esapekka Lappi will test new parts on the Yaris WRC and will collect data for the http://bit.ly/2qTE5Ng* team

They should put those new parts to other cars ASAP, Lappi is flying in Shakedown.

I dont understand why they have stopped the shakedown. It looks like nobody was injured and car was not blocking the road.

Lol now we are making conclusions after 1-2 runs in shakedown. Reminds me of Monte shakedown hype.

If anything on shake comparing 2nd and 3rd pass times makes most sense.

Anyway lets stay with the hype:
Obviously Lappi is pushing and doing good.
Breen has clear influx of motivation.
Mikkelsen as expected or better. Similar times to other top drivers (though the comparison is limited for now), faster than Evans on 3 runs). Off course he has most motivation to drive as many times as possible. Also note that last year he was around 7-8th place in 2nd and 3rd run on Sardinia shakedown.
