Yes 34mm in Argentina, and Southamerica.
Anyhow, I doubt they are faster than R5; they are much cheaper and with less development potential.Last edited by ZequeArgentina; 22nd March 2017 at 13:56.

According to http://rajdy.autoklub.pl/news/polo-r...tem-2018,75058 VW Polo R5 is going to arrive in the summer of 2018. At the same time, Skoda Fabia R5 will still be continued. Sorry, I couldn't find any English source.

Does anyone know who's leading the DS3/208 R5 replacements project? Will it be Peugeot Sport (responsible for the current models), Citroen Racing (like Matton has already announced) or even a mix team? We've heard some news about a C3 being tested on a 208 mule and now Farmin has openly talked to Revista Scratch site about a future 208 R5 (apparently they’ll keep the 208 name on the new production model to be released). Either way, we can just hope it won’t be the same team that turned the 208/DS into a rally mess…

The development od current DS3/208 started with people who later during the project moved to Hyundai and I think that it was one of the reasons why it went bad afterwards. One of them was the leader of the project Bertrand Vallat if I remember.

I don't expect them to make the same mistakes again with the new cars, they clearly have many experience what doesn't work, so...
In the meantime, maybe they could develop their customer service program. Botka said in an interview that they had to retire in Azores after they broke the gearbox cable, because they didn't have a spare, despite ordering a dozen in November, just that they haven't arrived yet... Also, he is contemplating a car swap (he'll do Canaries with the DS3, it is currently with Sports&You, after that nothing's sure), and wowed that he'll never buy a Peugeot or Citroën again.
