He still had a pulse for a minute and then nothing. Relief took an incredible amount of time to arrive. We were a mile from the finish but they did not want to get the ambulance up since the finish. She had to come in the direction of the special, probably from the start. We stayed more than twenty minutes waiting for the ambulance. The guy had been dead for a long time even though the firefighter told us he had to massage until the doctors arrived and could not officially say he had died. We talked with John Kennard, Paddon's crew, and he could not get over the slowness of the relief. It's just that. That said, it would not have changed for him.
