Ok so its a challenge to the drivers, but is it clever to start a rally season on a narrow road in the dark...

One mistake and its ruined.

Looks to me like he may have actually hit him with the rear of the car as it goes out of shot. At about 0.25 I think you can see the guy being thrown up the bank. Horrible, horrible accident.
