Nikara-Adachi has entered to SM1 class.

SM1 = R5,S2000,WRC 02 and evo/sti which are not FIA legal
SM2 = N and R4

To me that means: They are going to drive with something else later, Yaris R5 ?
Nikara is TGR´s main test driver for new R5.

Why Marko Salminen is with Takamoto Katsuta?
My bet is that Miikka Anttila or Kaj Lindström is going to end his career soon and Salminen will be new co-driver of Latvala/Hänninen

- Nikara wanted to compete in SM1-class, more power = more fun.
- Currently no R5 Yaris, they dont even have an proper engine at customer program for this car. Also need´s whole new factory etc.
- Takamoto´s previous Co-Driver went back to Elfyn Evans. Marko live´s in Finland and is professional what he does. This is step up also for his career and he´s working for Gazoo now.
- This case isin´t related to Anttila or Lindström at all.

I thought that he will be in SM2, but it was Jarkko's decission. SM1 and SM2 spec cars has quite big cap in engine.

Will be hard on current facilities. To make 50-200 cars instead of current 9-10..

Arai and Takamoto are still competing for the place so no guarantee for wrc seat. For Marko this is ofc step up to get place in works team, get paid, so the right race's the future. Much smarter than running in frc for years
