OK, but why pick Lappi over Mikkelsen? I know there was agreement before VW quit, but as you can see in Lappi´s contract it is officially only "Test driver" job. Lappi can´t say a word if Tommi uses Mikkelsen as third driver. ...but Tommi didn´t pick Mikkelsen.
Visit South Moravia. It is the real paradise

That doesn't confirm anything around DMack, they aren't a manufacture..

I like to be optimistic. But in Toyota case on the contrary I´m not bashing, that´s all.

C.Clark: Got to wonder what's going on ! Stand down Elfyn supporters, no announcement now for at least a couple of days. Still very hopeful though..

Was really looking forward to see Toyota back in the game but i can't see how they will succeed if they keep on making this kind of stupid decisions.
Also, having the HQ in the deep forests in Finland instead of Cologne... Apparently people working with rally is just shaking their heads and wondering whats going on.
Are you by any change, Erik Veiby in disguise with "c" and "living in england" thing?
Well to be fair, I would have also picked Mikkelsen over Latvala anyday of the week.

Distance from the "deep forests of Finland" to most of the rallies is pretty fking insane so hopefully they manage to fly the cars from Finland preferably from Jyvaskyla airport which is like 10km's from their workshop to where ever they are racing. Doing that trip with trucks every time takes like million years.
But aren't they allowed to test freely in Finland since they are located there? Then they happen to have thousands of kilometers of the best rally roads of the world right on their doorstep, which can't be a bad thing.

Which is good for testing for Finland and Poland, and a bit of Sweden.

Not so good for basically every other rally on the calendar!

And all testing is restricted to a number of days...
