Mega drive by Mikkelsen on this rally. I hope he will have a good car next year, he has been steadily improving and I do think he's in the top 3 WRC drivers overall at the moment.

Yes, maybe, but point is the same.
Hayden has improved by a huge margin on this event, and if you see it in a bigger picture that puncture isn't really that important. Its all about building up his performance to make it strong enough to fight for "the big cup", so its better taking that puncture now, than when its something bigger on the line.
But I am off course extremely gutted for him. I know how much he wanted a good finish here, and on top of that he has a lot of fans on this event, and he will feel that he has let everybody down, so lets hope he can channel his frustration in to something constructive, and win that podium back!https://www.facebook.com/noseendfirst?ref=hl#

Would be a very well deserved win for Mikkelsen, but not enough to finish 2nd in the championship
