So if Abbring does do the rally (as their competition implied) then it will be in the R5 I guess.

Hi everyone, I've purchased tickets to the wrc in Wales for the first time and would just like some advice in the best stages to get too and any other advice for the best stay while down there

Well since you are asking about stages I presume you've bought the event Rally Pass. I wish you'd asked before buying as it really isn't worth the money! Unless you want to run the risk of negotiating traffic and only seeing the first 12 cars on most occasions it is far better on each day to select one stage on each day and see both passes - total cost £75 pp versus 99 (ok it costs a £100 if shakedown is included for 4 day's stage admission.) As it is possible to view some stages free - the pass / ticket is really a car parking charge - the 99 quid is a tad expensive. As for where to go, any forest, looking over the event to take in twisty bits, fast sections and the odd hairpin. Best if you view some old youtube footage and then ask about locations that take your fancy. Welcome to the forumm

Noticed the accommodation is less available than previous years. Wonder if this is higher interest levels or competition with walkers / mountain bikers for the available berths?Kris Meeke got fired -PSG so terrified they quit!
