The main advantage from AP4 rules (like those of MR or N5) is to allow private teams to build and homologate competitive rally cars at more affordable prices. This way the sport doesn’t get hostage of manus lack of interest and rally costumers can get a wider and cheaper choice.
It’s a shame that in Europe cars like the Mirage R5 (and probably MEM’s future Iriz R5) won’t be allowed to run alongside similar cars made by manus tuners, simply because they’re not official projects.Rally addict since 1982

Eventually, Sarrazin entered Pays de Fayence Rally only as a 0 car. Homologation issues or team option?
