A big emphasis was made by the FIA/Promoter when these new regs were announced about the fact that if you painted all the current cars white, the man in the street wouldn't be able to recognise one from the other.

I have to admit it's not something that particularly bothers me. I've made peace with the fact we're not going to get the variation in segments we used to have - but in 2017 with the design trends we've seen, to me they are still going to all look pretty similar to the man in the street.

Cant blame anyone but the car manufacturers ... cars in this sector all look the same now. They all copy the boring Euro-style so they dont put anyone off their particular model.

I definitely think when the Toyota broke cover it got a lot of people paying attention. Still more aero advances to come from all teams I think.

Sorry mate, still a great driver's car, but when I saw one in the metal I was so sooo disappointed.

I expected something exciting-looking after the Mk1 & Mk2 with their flared arches etc. But the Mk3 wouldn't get a second look.

That new Polo looks like old MG Metro 6r4. That was 30 years ago
Somehow I like most Hyundai I20 outlooking at this point. Ok we have to think that we will see big changes before these cars are ready to start Monte Carlo 2017. Anyway direction is right. Rallying really need this new rules.

Sounds like VW have cooked something engine wise, massive hissss in this clip. To me hyundai is the most conservative, aero wise at least, as a Paddon fan I'm hoping they get creative and bring something new.

Yeah it doesn't sound like "normal" anti-lag. Cars are still not final so we should wait for the homologated anyway.
