I think that this was the first time Lappi did everything well on an asphalt event. So far he nearly always crashed and when then alwas in right-hander (as Hartusvuori found).

Reading Skoda's post event press release, they still mention Lappi as a works driver and don't seem to rule out the possibility of further rounds for all their guys.. I suppose they will see how it goes in Spain next week.

Well either way they will have needed to put in their entries for Wales before Corsica. So we'll see when the list comes out. They don't have the luxury of being able to wait, although there's nothing to stop them withdrawing them like they did last year from memory.
