My bad - I'm sure I read somewhere he had lost that sponsorship. But as you say he is still wearing the caps - same as Elfyn.

Ogier is very likely to make errors on tarmac. Apart from Monte, because that's where he comes from and thus he knows those roads. Here's some flashback from last year:
    Germany: nothing
    Corsica: puncture
    Spain: crash

    And 2014:
    Germany: twice out
Alsace: something there as well, don't remember what
    Spain: nothing

And this year in Monte he collected some bodywork damage after slightly taking contact with a bridge.

Also, I think, Ogier has some pressure on himself now. He must win, if he want's to show that he is still the best.

What was the longest period or events between wins for Loeb ? Ogier hasn't won since Sweden and thats 6 events.

Loeb's longest gap between wins was 26 weeks or 182 days from Monte Carlo to Germany 2003.
If Ogier wins Rally Germany on August 21st it will be a gap of 27 weeks or 189 days since Sweden.

2003 means nothing, he was a kid then. Start counting from the time he first became Champion. Also it would be more fair to count events because each year the gap between events varies for example if you had the summer holiday gap between the events you have not won that would increase the period by far.

    "2003 means nothing"
Interesting to reflect on what a "means nothing" year was like. In 2003 Loeb & Sainz were tied on points and leading the championship by one point going into the final round. Solberg won final round to win championship by a solitary 1 point over Loeb. In my mind 2003 year was far from nothing, it was really something. Guess we all see things differently.

You have to translate it from his language to the real meaning.
With "means nothing" he wanted to say that in a discussion about the longest period of events without winning a rally, taking the 2003 in account for Loeb is not useful for the sake of the argument since he was at the beginning of his career and that gap was for sure higher (the same goes for Ogier). If we want to compare the two sebastien in terms of period of non-wins we should start from the first year they become champions and reach the maturity.

If we start from 2005 when Loeb already had his first world title then his longest gaps between wins was in 2009. He won Argentina on 26 April then did not win again until Catalunya Rally on October 4th. There were 5 events between Argentina & Catalunya.
As many people have said many times before it is not possible to compare different eras. In 2009 there were only 2 manufacturers involved.
