In this case I wouldn´t bet for Abbring getting a seat. His performances, even considering the old car, were not too convincing.

Why are you taking it seriously?
It is an article without a quote and with a lot of "is said to" and "should". In a word it is crap.

I think our dear leader should do something about it. lol

Every year they say that. But this year it's ACI who is saying it for economical and (they say) political reasons. The problem is that ACI is going to pay more to keep Monza circuit in F1 (sigh) and is asking more money from the regional government.

What I'm afraid of is that they're leaving Sardinia without having ready a concrete alternative...

This thread is for news and rumours. Thus this info was posted.

Several sources state Matton's view on 2017.

So Your opinion is just as likely to be crap.

    Why are you so rude?
I've said the article is crap, not you who have posted it. I could never say that to a forum member like you just did...

A piece summing up the silly season situation at the moment. Goes through Google translate pretty well:

Biggest question is around Neuville. If we see him in the 2017 car testing it is likely he is staying.

Jari-Matti Latvala reported as having signed VW contract for 2017 with option for 2 year extension until 2019 according to @fernischumi

So 2018 could be a crunch moment for VW in terms of whether they promote Mikkelsen - take a Skoda guy and move on from Latvala. Or they keep things the same and pick up the Latvala option. For sure someone will be on a one-year contract at Toyota next year to ensure they have space for 2018.
