It never was pre-EC membership but it will certainly affect alcohol and tobacco sales in Belgium and France as UK tax will be payable once again for import.
However that won't affect 2017 (and in all probability up to 2020!)
The UK is a member of the EC until it leaves - so no barrier to Ypres in the immediate future.Last edited by Mintexmemory; 30th June 2016 at 16:19.

Are you sure, if you will go out of EU, it will be same for competitors? Ask each owner of Ford rally car. And ask Malcolm how it should affect his business... And we will see, if UK will go out of EU, what will happen with Schengen and other EU things. Maybe there will be again necessary to have ATA Carnet?

Funny how bending the law and motorsport seem to be indelibly linked! When I was young it was drivers stealing cars to order for parts to fund their rallying rather than "white collar" crime like tax...
