With this new 17 cars (C3 & Polo), we can see new air inlet in front of rear wheels, any idea of what behind this ?

cooling of the brakes perhaps, or just for aesthetic reasons.

Is there anything new with the brakes with this regulation ? There was no things like that with previous cars ?

Could be for the rear diff oil cooler as well as many other things.
