The problem with Mads is that he isn't No.1 driver. He is good No.2 to secure solid points but he isn't able to deliver more - what No.1 driver should.

Anyway I wonder how long Malcolm keeps backing Camilli. So far his season is one big disaster and there aren't even signs of progress.

In some way it reminds me 2005 M-Sport transition season with Gardemeister and Kresta - first one solid point-taker and second one unreliable rookie (Kresta improved a lot through the season though). In 2005 they concentrated on Focus 06 development, now 2017 spec. car. In any case they are in bad position for next year to find proper drivers.

while we waiting, just a refresh for the stage.

    Sat 10:12 - Stage info: SS12
Otates 1, 42.62km. Saturday's longest test has claimed several victims in the past. Andreas Mikkelsen rolled heavily in 2014, Jari-Matti Latvala crashed several years previously and in 2013 Sébastien Ogier stopped to allow co-driver Julien Ingrassia to open a closed gate. After a narrow, uphill start, it is mostly fast and flowing on wide roads, although there is a 5km twisty section two-thirds of the way through.

Maybe because Mads was faster last year in Citroen?

The car construction is quite old and they haven't done many upgrades in all these years. It is slow because other cars got faster.

Was he? Besides that it's hardly a proof for anything. Drivers may be fast with one car and slow with another. It doesn't mean the car is slow as well. Is Hyundai slower than Ford when Neuville was faster with Ford than with Hyundai?

You probably didn't notice that last year M-Sport homologated new car with completely new engine and different suspension.

I would always take what drivers say with a grain of salt. I doubt he knows exact power curve of recent Ford.

By the way would You believe that DS3 R5 has higher peak power than Fabia R5? It has
