    The tracking system showed a brief stop on stage. He completes 2m33.9s off the pace. The car looks okay. What happened? "We have a problem with the downshift. And from the middle of the stage we lost first or second gear. I hope we can continue today and check the stages." He pulls away in third gear.

    Tänak and Evans performances from last season not looking bad now eh? Tänak had a spin but lost only 20 secs to Mads on last stage.
