The author is backing up the decision of Bertelli to retire from Rally Sweden for safety reasons and his proposal to create a WRC drivers' committee or whatever he wants...

Thanks, so you were standing right next to the flag?
I was only there for one picture and had to leave after Ogier to get my flight in Stockholm.

I agree with you Mirek. It was almost like heatwave But lets say, Karlstad is waayyy to south and Hagfors is on the very edge. So, maybe it would be good idea to just add some stages further north. That means, during warmer years we have Norwegian stages OK, northern stages OK and maybe some stages near Värmland. Other years, rally distance is just a bit shorter. Or create completely new format. That means, based on the pre-rally forecast, you can automatically leave out some stages in the north or some in the south. I belive that preparing more stages (safety plans, spectator guides etc.) might be cheaper than rebuilding stages overnight.

    Yes, and so?

"I dont think any other driver in the WRC had driven to win Rally Sweden from being first on the road."

The conditions where very special, with a huge disadvantage to the first on the road. I think very few drivers, even Loeb, would drive to win such an event, when You know how much risk thats involved in attempting such a feat.
