(34 - Brynildsen Eyvind / Fredriksson Anders): I think we have a broken driveshaft or rear diff. It's too long back to service. I really hoped this would be the weekend.

To me, it seems in these conditions that the new Fiesta R5 is at least equal to the Skoda.

Somewhat Impressive start by Bergkvist. About 33s off the WRC2 lead on first attempt. Hope his consistency stays and his speed improves.

Is Mikkelsen is playing psych games with Ogier, giving up the win, and hoping for relaxation on Ogier, and a mistake?

Fri 13:37 - SS7: Mikkelsen
19.9sec slower than Ogier and his car has damage to the left side of its front bumper. "I lost the rear a bit and hit a tree stump, it spun the car around and I stalled. I lost a lot of time. I think my chance for first place is gone. It's all about second place now.""With that car, your brain can actually never keep up"

While not really a surprise it does make one wonder who will do the tarmac. Paddon has no recent or historical decent tarmac form. Lappi is therefore most likely, he does not have any good results...
