There is live footage from the start in Monaco

Both have terrible audio sync problem. They also have a new presenter, instead of the French girl from last year

I would be more concerned in Felice's case for the driver behind him : Esapekka Lappi (just one minute gap!!)

This is one of the things which I dont like in WRC - stupid starting order. Another example is Delecour...

the starting order reminds me a bit of last years erc jänner rally.

at first all registered cars (also the 2wd cars) than all the rest of the field, beginning with the “fastest” 4wd cars. but there was a break with 5 minutes or so between the last registered 2wd car and the fist non registered 4wd car.

No sign of any sync problem in IE 11 or Google chrome with the wrc.com stream.

Terenzio Testoni, Pirelli rally activity manager:
“Because of the conditions on Rallye Monte-Carlo, tyre choices and the quality of tyres are critical to the outcome. The main difference this year compared to last year is that there isn’t a hard compound available, as the result of a rule change that was only announced very recently. We have worked on developing the new soft to have a wider usage range, so this year it’s a multi-purpose tyre and should work in both dry or mixed conditions with temperatures above five degrees, while the supersoft goes very well from -5 to +5 degrees centigrade. It seems as if the weather conditions will be mixed, including dry, damp and snow, so we will need to use all types of tyre.”

How is that different to current ERC? The registered starting first. Same for both championships.
