Well marketing definition doesn't matter. What matters is classification and 55 crews entered one rally and 48 the other one. The fact they both take place in the same time is of course true but they are two different events with different rules, different classification and different competitors. Of course You might find my point as nothing but grumbling but I just don't like using misleading titles for marketing purposes.

Ironically it's a really strong entry number-wise by Sweden's standards. They didn't have to embellish the story in that way. But okay PR is PR.

Cool to see Mats Jonsson back out I guess. That is a autograph I need to try and get for the collection. Doubt I will ever see him at a rally again.

Petter worked with a start before Christmas, If he could get a up to date wrc car.
I would say a Ford, both in sweden and RX.

I don't know If someone already wrote it, but the norwegian in a fabia R2, Henrik Elvestad, is a tv-host and comedian, that do things on tv to push himselves and make funny things on tv. He drive 1 rally before as far as i know, also on tv. That time the co-driver was Pekka lundefaret, lundefarets Brother

Bernt kollevold, the co-driver for sweden, work in VW rallyteam with Andreas Mikkelsen, and won the "klasse 13", the class for older 4wd (gr.a/gr.n) rallycars in the norwegian championship in 2015.
The car is the famous Toyota celica Petter Solberg used when he won the National championship, with 25 liter of Oil on the roof. This celica is also the same chassisnumber as auriol was disqualifed in -95 with the modified air intake / turbo.

I'm a new member. I'm from Portugal and this year i will see rally Sweden and i have some doubts like what is recommended transport to fans between stages and karlstad city. Maybe i get help here...

Either go the group tour rout with a company like Rally Travel, or go by Your self, but then You will need a car. The stages are easy to get to with the rally maps, and the rally is very spectacular. Just remember WARM clothing! The trick is layer up on layer, preferably with wool closest to the skin. Another tip is to use overshoes, outside Your boots (if You get cold on Your feet Your day is over), i recommend Neos Navigator. Good luck!

Mait Maarend run by Eurolamp WRT. I've only seen him at one event, but I'd assume he'll be beaten by most of the R5 guys.
