That itself isn't necessary a disadvantage. 2WD have a lot more free rules. They have much bigger suspension travel, a lot less weight, bigger wheels etc. Peugeot clearly decided for 2WD because they saw a potential there otherwise they would opt for 4WD.

Maybe they opted for 2wd simply because their feared direct class confrontation with X Raid...seeing their crap '15 proto and the need for an almost new car in '16 it makes more sense...
Without Chile's desert stages and with such bad weather they could end in another disaster campaign. Let's hope not, Peugeot drivers and technicians deserves better.Last edited by Rally Power; 4th January 2016 at 01:50.

Today's stage shortened but will go trough. Motors do 354 km instead of 450. Cars and trucks 387 instead of 510 km.
He is what we call "Svorsk" and the flag is called Sildesalaten, from when Norway was under Sweden in a union, from 1814 to 1905.
