To be in WRC, you need only two things - money and good friends in FIA. Quality of the event is not important (as we can see from the history)...

Come on Pluto, WRC needs to get worldwide and the Chinese join up is a consensual one. And we've seen well funded events being sacked (Jordan, Japan, Turkey) or refused (Brasil, South Africa) from WRC.

Btw, the best examples of a "sold out" calendar still are last IRC's years...

Yes he was in wrc3, you're right. But was first on his class (rc4) and I think that it showed speed or at least had a very good performance considering his little experience in international level.
If a few else noticed it is not on my interest. Being italian I had a bit more attention on what he did, and I hope he will have more chances to improve and see where he can go.

You didnt understand my point. I am not talking about China or other events. I am only noticing, that if some organisers like Valais wants to go into WRC, primary they must find enough money and then they must be good with politics at FIA. Nothing else...

But this is thread about ERC (where the situation is very similar).

To be first in class RC4 on most of events (especially where Dmack Fiesta Cup was not starting) is nothing... Of course I was trying to follow results of Fabio and Andrea as I know them both very well, but it was very difficult to find anything about them (except stage times)...

Estonian young talent Karl Martin Volver with Peugeot 208 VTi R2 will take part in four rallies next season (Rally Liepaja), (Ypres Rally), Rally Estonial and (Barum Rally). Will be watching him closely.
