Most people do agree with you... I don't understand how FIA and the promotor allow these kind of things, like a rally with only 9 stages... 2 are cancelled and now we end up with some kind of rally-sprint. The stages are longer, but for the fans (both at home and on stages) it's nicer to follow events that have more (shorter) stages...

On the other hand fans want wrc events to be unique and this rally is unique with long stages only, some of them are run only once and services in different places.

True story, bro. Robert said that to polish jurno Gutowski. With the smallest budget in the field they have to do such a things. Thats how it is. So it was still his mistake, right ?

Everytime he has an excuse. Sorry, this could be rims fault, but what about him not destroying his car in previous rallyes? Maybe he could have had the budget to buy proper rims then. There are plenty of private drivers and teams that manage to reach the finish line in several rounds. He did never. Everytime it is something else fault: the brakes, the rims, the engine, the team, the bad luck. Or he is the most unlucky man in the world or he just have a problem himself that in 2 years he didn't manage to solve.

what is the current situation with Fabia r5 new supplier? I read on r5 topic there were some issues and punctures because of rims

Amen! The other 9 to 5 rallys feels always short but this TdC schedule beat them ridiculously. With so many spare time drivers could apply for a Uber vacancy...

Great perfs from Evans and Abbring. It would be amazing to see Evans winning it, but any podium finish will be a major achievement for him and MSport.

Exactly. This year's Tour de Corse has been one of the strangest, shortest and most unpredictable events in quite a while. In some ways that's a good thing as we have no idea as to how the podium is going to look after SS9 tomorrow, but it also makes for quite a lot of boredom for us who aren't at the stages this weekend but follow the event at home.
