Great day for New Zealand motor sport. Earl Bamber 1st, Brendan Hartley second. Only second time a kiwi has won and 1966 doesn't really count, although if that finish had gone to plan Amon would have won anyway,
Add to this Hayden Paddon finishing second in Rally Italy (should have won but for a gearbox issue) a truely memorable weekend for us little kiwis
