So there were rumours Wevers could buy one and Kobus could rent it. Or no rumours at all. Let's see, I would enjoy it if Hermen Kobus would be at Ypres.
Kobus is really thinking about Fabia R5...

Expensive? €40 at the moment for shakedowns and all stages: http://www.ypresrally.com/en/product...et-%E2%82%AC40

It's not cheap indeed, last year the entry ticket costed "only" 35 euros (32 in presale). Any other ERC event that asks this amount of money? In Belgium it's quite common to have these rates for entry tickets, other "normal" BRC events go from 20 to 30 euros, even for local events in Flanders you can easily pay up to 15 euros for a ticket.

I didn't mean expensive for what you get, I mean expensive for me combined to what I'd expect to pay on a stage-by-stage basis. If shakedown is free, and I'm only going to be there on Friday, I wondered if it was cheaper than just paying for stage entry on two stages on Friday? The 'per stage' info doesn't seem to be available.

The price per stage is 10 or 12 euros I think (not sure). Anyway on many places along the stages they don't check at all in many cases (if you avoid the public areas which are in mostly not that spectacular anyway). Sure it will be cheaper to buy a ticket only on stage.

Yes, he will start. He will do Rally Hustopece one week before Ypres as a test and to be back in rally rhythm.

Loix in Fabia R5 now registered.

I bought the rally pass for 37€. To me it's cheap, because I compare it to Rally Finland, Rally Germany and Rally Sweden. Those are WRC, sure, but nevertheless Ypres is a weekend of high quality rallying, no matter if it's W or E in front of RC. And sure, there are cheaper events, events with no tickets at all even, but still - happy to support.
