Come on, it's You who search for excuses. Tidemand (or his car) was much slower than Kruuda when Kruuda had his fate in his own hands. He lost all the time in one stage behind a slower car. Don't tell me it was his mistake

Anyway Tidemand is way behind the gulf guys. If You think that it's some kind of achievement, I don't. And I don't say he must be slower driver than them. It may be the car...

Both Lappi and Tidemand had some technical problems. It's hard to say how much that affected them though (with Lappi definitely more than by one minute lost). Also after I saw the Fabia R5 shakedown videos I'm far from believing that the car setup is right.

Foulon is French gr.N driver who for some very weird reason starts among R5 crews although he is way slower than them.

Kruuda is about 1min back and lost all the time stuck behind the Evo of Foulon for most of ss6. He was on pace with the rrc cars for all the other stages

This problem Lappi had was only on the first stage, but may be You're right and they have some set-up difficulties yet. We should not judge them too hard on their very first rally with R5 Fabia, on completely unknown rally.

    It must be weird indeed.

Also, Kubica after SS3 said that he has been permitted a one minute more gap between him and Al Quassimi because he was stuck in his dust the previous stage. Why this wasn't possible for drivers after Foulon?

Kruuda lost about 1.20 behind Foulon. He was very angry at the organizers at the end of the stage.

On the 2nd loop the gap was 4 mins after Foulon. At least this was announced.

Already on SS 2, 3 and 4 there was a 4 Minute gap after Foulon. Only in SS6 when Foulon started some minutes late, he was 2 min in front of Kruuda.

Poor Foulon. He maybe just wanted to have some fun in a WRC round but now is hated by other competitors and is feeling a lot of pressure
