I was out last night Storm, but saw the goals. Great stuff. Only Getafe, but nice (for me a fanboy) to see Messi looking so sharp again after a few quiet matches.

Seriously guys, if Barca we keep playing at this level, none will have a chance, not in the Liga, not in CL...

The front three have gelled to perfection just need to see if they can continue like this in the crunch game vs Bayern and the match vs Atletico which might end up deciding La Liga!
The problem as always is they come against a team which only wants to defend 90' (Getafe tried but they do not have the quality or intensity needed to defend the whole game), but this year it looks like they have plan B, at least their plan A itself is tweaked to be more effective with Messi on the right side.
and of course lets not talk about the brain fade that happens to people like Pique in some matchesTito Vilanova = :champion:

I don't want to p155 on the Barca fans parade but the standard of teams in the bottom half of La Liga is very poor.
The gap between the big 3 is increasing. And If Real Madrid and Barca don't start sharing the TV money around fairly then the gap will continue to grow. To put it in perspective, most of the teams in the bottom half of La Liga operate on budgets lower than many clubs in the English Championship. No wonder Real and Barca regularly thump teams 6-0 and 9-1.Tazio 14/3/2015: I'll give every member on this forum 1,000.00 USD if McLaren fails to podium this season!

^Even if that is quite true you still have to watch out for those "lower" teams...Getafe got a 2-2 draw in the Camp Nou last season which effectively meant Barca lost the title to AtM.
The same Getafe who got thumped 6-0, drew 0-0 in the earlier fixture of the season..Tito Vilanova = :champion:

That is the beauty of Football. You get more upsets than in other sports. Like Bradford beating Chelsea in the FA Cup or Cambridge drawing with Man Utd or even FC Porto beating Bayern the other week.
But my general point was that the gap between top and bottom in La Liga is relatively much greater than it is in other European leagues. It seems that every club in Spain apart from Barcelona and Real Madrid are in a financial mess and have to sell their best players every season.Tazio 14/3/2015: I'll give every member on this forum 1,000.00 USD if McLaren fails to podium this season!
