Debut win for the Fabia with a 0.63s/km gap to Bouffier. Pretty solid start so looking forward to seeing what this car can do over the coming months.

Perfect start for SKODA Fabia R5 as Kopecky fastest all of today's stages on his way to winning Rallye Sumava Klatovy ...

Unfortunately Pech had to retire - I think times would be more comparable with him instead of Bouffier, who didn´t know the rally and nowadays hardly competes anymore.
On the runner up side, I don´t believe Jakes would have been slower than Bouffier on this rally, and Odlozilik looked faster when still driving his Fiesta R5.

I think you're too pessimistic about Bouffier, he was driving WRC as recently as last year. When was the last time Kopecky drove a tarmac rally?
Kopecky was about 0.5s/km quicker than Pech on SS1, slightly slower than Pech on SS2 but I guess he took that one easy or made a mistake as Bouffier was closer to him too on that stage.

Munster is almost always faster than McErlean, but too many mistakes... He also really doesn't like this Hankook + hybridless car, but I'm afraid it's just not enough after more than 2 full seasons. ...
