I think it is an Island in the central Pacific, either part of Micronesia, Palau, or the Marshall group. Not too sure, as to significance, I am guessing at the lowest island above sea level?

Yes, it's the most populous island in the Marshall Islands.
It's significance, at least what I was looking for, is that it's the most densely populated region of any US area, even more so than Manhattan.

Never would have guessed that. I am assuming it is simply an airfield with a USAF base attached to it?
