No problem for Abbring... just drive around, take no risks, wait for others to have problems, pick up a good result. Worked for the Hyundai drivers in Monte...

Didn't Loeb injure himself in the same way too when he won the championship from his bed in 2006 or so? Maybe WRC teams should advise their drivers' trainers to stick to stationary bikes...

That's a good one - you did win a key for the VW fan zones
where you can join by showing your VW car-key getting free
soup, bread, cofee and parking (the lucky 50!!!).

You can pick it up by downloading the image below...

Livery looks little bit like the livery on Protasov's car but whit different colours. Way better livery than the Henning's usual white one.

Would think Abring has more experience than Paddon, being the test driver and Paddon has never driven WRC car in Sweden I think?

No. I don't know where you got that idea. For one thing, neither of them have driven a WRC car in Sweden - in fact Paddon has driven Sweden once in S2000 and Abbring has never competed there in any car. I like Abbring and am glad to see him get a chance with a factory team, but in WRC his experience is much less:

    PWRC/R3: 18 wrc events; S2000: 5 wrc events

    And Paddon with
PWRC: 16 wrc events; S2000: 10 wrc events, WRC: 7 wrc events

And frankly having 7 ERC events last year with so many retirements doesn't exactly make up the difference. Of course until they are on multiple rallies head to head comparisons don't mean much in terms of performance, but in experience there's no question...
