Remember there was news last year about a Ukrainian privateer called oleksii tamrazov trying to get together a programme to build and run a mg wrc .
Is it happening ? Did it ever get started ?

The level of manufacturer interest in WRC is great now, but why? Has media coverage improved in other countries?
As someone pointed out even a specialist motorsport publication like Autosport barely mention rallying these days.

Only the fact there´s a German factory and Korean factory and French and semi-English factory team competing, make others have to (maybe) rethink. You want to be where competiton is. And that hasn´t anything to do with how much or little Autosport or any Media writes about rallying.

I think as it stands Perez probably has the upper hand for the 1st seat. His record is very similar to Bottas', but as you said he has more marketing appeal in the America's. And lets's face it.......
