So, am I correct when I say that we have among the highest number of drivers in recent years who are driving WRCars and they are not using Michelin tyes?
    1. Prokop, 2. Bertelli, 3. Protasov, 4. Kubica, 5. Solberg. These are all Pirelli users in Monte if I am correct.

From the weather side it looks that most of the stages are prety dry at the moment (I had a time today to search some local information;-), but I exepct two nights with light snowfall (tonight and tomorrow) and then we see what happens. It is very likely that there will be very heavy snowfall on Wednesday and early Thursday

I can say that I have spent night at the Turini with other rallying fans and also rally cars. And it is not so many years ago...

Col de Turini at night; that's what the Rallye Monte Carlo is all about!

Is there a better sound than that of Porsche engined Flat-6 ???

I had planned going there some of those years too, though finally I couldn't. I can't go this year to the whole rally, so I decided to travel to see only the Turini. We never know which is the last chance for everything.
Nevertheless, you know that those videos you have linked aren't the real "Night of Turini" either... I believe that last time it took place was in 1991:

    Leg 3 Tuesday 29-Jan-1991

    16:33 SS19 Col de Turini 2 22.21 km
    18:16 SS20 Col de la Couillole 1 22.15 km
    19:31 SS21 Ascros - Toudon 1 23.52 km
    21:34 SS22 Col de la Madone 1 18.46 km
    22:57 SS23 Col de Turini 3 22.21 km

    Wednesday 30-Jan-1991

    01:25 SS24 Col de la Couillole 2 22.15 km
    02:40 SS25 Ascros - Toudon 2 23.52 km
    04:43 SS26 Col de la Madone 2 18.46 km
    06:06 SS27 Col de Turini 4 22.21 km

Once, I heard Moya saying that the night of Turini something always happens. Ask Delecour...

This is the point. I'm keeping an eye on it too.

Thanks, bluuford, as usual (I still remember the messages you send me about Alsace last year). I'll wait every updating you could provide.

What kind of budget should you tink off to drive a WRC car at the monte like Henning does?
