And like we already know MSport has installed silencers in their rallycars, what I find a pity.. So that could explain it all like br21 says, I already thought that too.

Every homologated rallycar car must have silencer in my opinion. There is a loudness limit in the regulations due to the fact that rallies take place on public roads.

Hannes don't tell me You can't see a difference in acceleration of gr.N car and WRC on wet asphalt. If so You need glasses

I have slow vision.. ;-) ok,this comparision was a bit over the limit :-P

And about the silencer.. this time they were on the cricuit.. so no public roads and no such rules:-)

Chardonnet was testing this 208 R5 today, probably for Monte? In the background I can recognize the service-vehicles from Trajectoire (team of Marc Amourette).

Anything from VW tests in Sweden? I mean videos. Swedish newspaper Expressen says they weren´t aloowed to film test.
