These clips got me back into rallying last year, there are plenty of them around still, some of which get plenty of hits and views. I'm very grateful to the people who make and post them.

Um, four drivers, seven wins? Vatanen 1985, Toivonen 1986, Makinen 1999-2002 and Gronholm 2006.

No, it's 8 victories for Finns. Hirvonen won IRC edition in 2010

But sorry for the mistake. I meant number of victories, not drivers...

Rallycross does fit the TV mentality better...coupla minute heats, action and drama frequently--from drivers crashing into eachother...so something for the talking (air) heads to talk about...
I hope Tideman doesn get waylaid into the "Made for TV" thing we have over here the call "Globular Wawwy Cwoss" or Global of some nonsense... Its the Ken Block Show..
They just had a round only 50km from downtown..

Only way I know was 2 weeks after clearing the junk email folder there was a spam email..

No other notice that a round was next door prqactically, on neither of our National forums.

I do shorter videos 5-6 minutes mainly because I fear people will lose interest/get bored, so it's best to keep it short and sweet and entertaining. Maybe I will post a longer video from Rally GB.

My Sardinia video is just over 6 minutes - http://youtu.be/SITPDjStglM

As for France, those markers dont look right at all.. hay bails with metal inside would be better.

Would take months to set them all out,

There were very few in 2010, and the event was more like the mud in Wales,, cutting everywhere,, It vastly improved in 2011, but they used steel road pins, with marker the size of playing cards on top, this was down right dangerous , we had one enter the car under my seat !!!

The markers use in the last couple of years, do get hit by the crews in front, and are left flat, some in the middle of the road,
If they weren't used, i would not enter the event, On the Sunday stages this year, there were very few of these marker/signs used
