The worst part about this event for an Australian, is that it comes and goes without any presence in the media I was intending to go this year. But it's become inconvenient. Not sure if Australia really deserves a WRC round, tbh.

Rally Australia is also round 5 of the Australian Rally Championship. www.rally.com.au

In the WRC event there are 10 Australian drivers listed in fia wrc legal cars, many places outside Europe would have difficulty matching that number.

I've heard that Mikkelsen will not start in Australia.

Mikkelsen was not on Manufacturer entry list that was originally released over a week ago, this will have caused possible confusion.

Mikkelsen will be in Ausratalia and talked about being in OZ when he was interviewed by Becs Williams during ADAC last week.

We are car 92 in the Australian part of the field in an unrestricted EVO 9. Not a bad field for the Aussies but the majority are from NSW/ACT.
