Looks like he was off to a blocked road. Might have tried to get back on the same spot where he was off but perhaps it was uphill and no traction to get up.

He is on the main road now, he went from road that he was on after crash down the vineyards to main road, but not on special stage.

Could this be the first pure tarmac win for a finnish driver since Mäkinen in Sanremo 1999? (if my memory serves me right, and not counting ice/tarmac in Monte)

Believe me, it will cost way more as it is capped at. That's why no one stand in line for those cars and everyone stands in line for Rally2 cars. I don't like it either, but the reality sucks. FIA...
