Very strange front damper position in Fabia R5. Looks like it is almost vertical but placed behind the upright...

Hmm... I'm no suspension expert but vertical position always very much limits the length of damper which is bad for it's function in rallying (except smooth asphalts). Placing behind the upright is probably for making it longer than if it was upon the driveshaft in the middle.
