Very impressive to be so fast in a Legacy, although I imagine road position helped a little. I rallied one a few years ago and they are a heavy car, but if it is newly built I guess you can take a lot of weight out and a strong cage will help make up for the chassis somewhat. Do you still have to run the factory intercooler on it?

In NZ we are quite lucky in that cars are largely limited only by a minimum weight and 36mm restrictor, so we run E85 and have some quite powerful cars that are able to be built up in a small workshop, not restricted so much by rules. We even have a few custom cars like a turbo 4WD Suzuki Swift. So you can potentially win rallies in an older car as long as the money is spent right and you have a talented enough driver. Although there is some rules to restrict you from running a modern WRC car at least.
