Last years' accident was nothing more than bad luck. I'm sure that this won't happen again, having that said; As much as like road/street courses, I prefer oval racing though. It's fast, close and dangerous. We already have a way too little amount of ovals, so I'm more than happy that the championship is going to be decided on a fast oval like this, with a 500 mile race under the lights. I would prefer to see the season finale on Las Vegas Motor Speedway but after last years' accident, I think that should wait a couple of years. Racing in common and especially a season finale is so much more exciting on an oval than on a road/street course. This is not F1 or Champ Car, this is the IndyCar Series!

So Rally2 cars couldn't be evolved and is strict that the class will die? WRC car never evolved from 1997 to 2016 (or WRC+ further until Rally1)? Right now it seems that everyone is waiting except...
WRC mainclass from 2027
